Gerald, a cycling enthusiast since childhood, did not give up his love and pursuit of cycling after moving from the flat capital to the hilly countryside. This time, he chose the PVY Z20 PLUS e-bike to start a new chapter in his cycling life.

How would owning a PVY E-BIKE change your lifestyle?
Sense of freedom, ecologic responsibility, breath, adventure, safety. It makes me feel like I'm from the future - at least where I live.
How long have you been riding and is this your first ebike?
I've been riding bikes since I could, probably at the age of 6 or 7 and that is definitely my first ebike.
What was your motivation or rationale to get an ebike and what were the most important factors in your consideration or selection process?
I moved from a flat capital to hilly country side, but that didn't mean I had to give up on style. Most important factor was the torque, the overall power but I admit, the utilitarian design approach and colors won me over.
How do you use your PVY bike - commuting, running errands, fitness, recreation, or all of the above? Tell us how you enjoy your ride.
All of the above. I work remotely but I will always find a reason to ride daily. While it involves less effort to ride my dear PVY, it still makes me ride daily and I wouldn't trade this feeling of freedom, breath and style for anything. The fat tires lead me anywhere so far without any problem at all with a stability I haven't experienced before. Since it is my first electric bike, I needed a couple of days to really get used to it, but once there, it really started to feel like a second nature.
Have you ever met up to ride with other PVY owners?
Nope! I doubt this will happen where I live.
What are your thoughts about the role of cycling and ebikes in a more sustainable future?
I have hope. If everyone would know how enjoyable it is to ride a bike like mine, they'd trade their cars for it to commute.
What has been your greatest or most memorable adventure with your PVY?
Discovering the region from a whole different point of view! Going the distance and places I'd never visit without my loyal bike.
Anything else you would like to share about your PVY or your experience with it?
Getting the z20 plus really changed my life. While the stock parts are decent and work very well, it is also extremely fun and exciting to pimp it and improve my bike making it my own and unique bike. The toughest part is to not buy a second one. Thanks for existing at the moment I got hooked with ebikes!
